I love this mini! This was painted as a NPC in one of my Eberron campaigns (Green Half-Dragon). I'd like to step it up a notch from table top so constructive criticism is welcome from all 7 and above painters.
Second -- you're a very precise painter. I like the job you did with the stitches on that cloak. Now you need to find other defined details -- like the raised portions on Thagrosh's weapon -- and apply that same level of precision.
Well, I'm not an 8-9-10 painter, but I'm game to offer suggestions. First, any time you only paint one color on an area you're shorting yourself. Try painting the first color a shade darker than what you really want, then put a second color a shade lighter on the raised surfaces. Even if you don't blend it well, it'll look a lot better (and from 2 feet away it'll look great.)
