3158: Female Necromancer with Tome

I painted this one for Reaper. There's nothing really about the model that screams Necromancer, so she could be almost any wizard or sorcerer (if you left off the book). What you can't see off screen is all the underlings that do the dirty work so her dress stays white.. :)

Great idea to paint the Cape in real metallics, looks very good. I also like the purple highlighting of the hair very much. Skin turned out great and you also did a very good job at the white dress and all that tiny details.

One of my favourites of yours. I really like the contrast of the darker skin and the white dress, and the painting on the dress is very nice. The cloak is fantastic, a nice demonstration that effects paint combined with shading and highlighting techniques can be effective and attractive. You've gotten a nice parchment look on the book pages, and the magical glow on the bookstand is very nice. The base is a little weaker than the rest.

Love what you have done with this beauty, especially the back of the cloak and the white dress. Skin tones show off the dress perfectly, though white is always a difficult colour in any media.
