Giant
Well, here he is. I have ordered a new camera so in a few weeks i can take closeups on all the details but for now you will have to do with this one. Enjoy! When I started out with this one i was just going to paint it up quick..but.. as time went by i kinda got stuck in it and now hes in just as high standard as my best characters in my army. Too fun to paint! Im particulary pleased with how the skin turned out. THeres more colors there than I usually use. At first i thought the skin looked a little too perfect so I added wounds, scabs, scratchmarks and bad skin/rashes (also on his butt he has skin like an orange hehe). I also tried to make it look like he had fallen down once and scratched up his side on some rock or something. I looked at my own skin for stuff i could add to the giant. Like veins and such. A good lesson about skin all in all for me. I added some eyebrows, hair on his stomach and chest and armpits. He looked like a big baby without it! The helmet is made of greenstuff and the horsn are from a ogre standard. Hes full of stuff that shows stuff from his history. Like the dragon skull he took as weapon from a dragon he slew and used the hors for his helmet.. stuff like that. Any comments or questions are welcome! Ive spent lots of time on this one and i want to know what you think. Cheers everyone and thanks to all that helped me out. IF this projekt tought me anything it was patience.. and lots of it!
