Captain Nathaniel Garro (NRTWH41K)

Captain Garro from the Horus Heresy, if he actually did survive and lead a guerilla war against Nurgle. Over ten millenia he and his remaining veterans started to be affected by the Warp, not in a chaotic way, but rotting their armor. Garro built a dual-bladed chainsword, which he has practised with for thousands of years. The model has been primed, and the arms have been removed so they can be reposed. A spike goes up his backpack, with a Chaos marine helmet carefully stuck on in replacement of the marine helmet on that spike. Everything of mine is WIP

I'm going to answer these comments one by one: I don't know what Libertas is, but this is a model set thousands of years later. He isn't the man he was, but he still has a duty. That's all he's got left. I'd like to get around to painting, but the exact color of the Death Guard is argued, and also I haven't been able to get around to painting anything in months. I'll start painting something eventually. I don't see what's not heresy-era about the model. It's close enough. If you wanted 100% accurate pre-heresy models, you'd have to get RTB01 backpacks from somewhere! And the armor is meant to look a bit corroded. This isn't a Horus Heresy model. Far from it. It's completely devoid of post-heresy parts, and has the look of the Death Guard, as far as I'm concerned. In any case, I'll be back when I paint this thing.

Its a nice looking conversion, but I don't think you could ever get Garro to give up Libertas

It´s a nice conversion, your base is really great. Besides my opinion that I don´t like your fluff, I must admit you have got talent, so why don´t you show us any of your painted minis? Uriel Ventris wasn´t bad at all.
