Ultramarine Nr.2

Second miniature - the testing subject for highlights and shading techniques. This figure is little bit darker than first one, I wanted look & feel of 'used' soldier (shabby white parts, dirt around gun's screws etc...). I enjoyed painting process, no matter it was for first time dealing with highlights. Purity seal made of modurit, ribbon prepared in photoshop, printed on paper and cut out...

Yes, Vanilla, the white strips on feets look dull, I forgot to make them more dirty :D This mini was my gate to highlighting and shading techniques and I was trying to learn something about it. It's like step-by-step course - you always do your best at that moment. I will try armour damages on next model.

realy nice work =) this mini is underrated one thing i dont like is the withe under his feets looks just dum , and if you want to baint "used" soldiers try mor brown and grey colors , maby and som damage to the armor =)
