Long John Silver and Jim Hawkins

This is my first try to paint something historical. I learned a lot concerning light effects at this scale. I wanted to do a base I have never seen before, so I tried to do a beach scene. Took a while to get the water exactly how I wanted it to be. I read the book about 15 years ago and watched different movies. When I first saw this minis, I knew that one day I have to paint them. I got them as a birthday present from my girlfriend and now a finally finished this project. I hope you like my work, comments are very welcome. Yo Ho Ho, Christian

This one looks so much better in real life... :( It seems a little oversaturated in the pictures.

Hi, I like your paintjob on this minis, as always, especially the face of Long John is absolutely perfect !! The base is a great idea. The only mistake I can find is that you painted an amzon-parrot in a macaw color-sceme, but who cares ;) it's art.
