I've always loved this sculpt. Your highlighting would benefit from one more brighter layer on top in many places. A drybrush of really light green on the feathers, a bright yellow highlight on the orange areas, and maybe some silvery edges on the gold. Also, the blue ball on his staff is a great opportunity to do some cool energy-looking freehand design.
