Ultramarine Nr.X

I didn't plan to paint this Ultramarine. It's about 10 years old mini, bought in some wargaming shop in Prague. I painted it that time using revell model colours and it didn't work (I blew it). As I started working on it, it became my school of misttakes. I didn't remove previous thick paint, I didn't prepare the figure washing in soap water to remove smeariness, I undercoated too much and there were same 'cracks', where undercoat was too thick. The figure is really old, it's markable in design and less of details, but at last it became my favourite mini - paint worked good and covered most of previeous misttakes' visible results. I love the red paint and highlighting of FlameThrower. Please leave comments. Thanx in advance.

Thanx all, I like this model because it is so simple and it was quite fun painting it. If I had a chance getting another of these, I will take it...

Very cool. Best version of this plastic one-poser I have seen. Once these were very common, but now nearly nobody wants to paint these. Nice that you have done it. And very well.
