Fungus Among Us

More old minis for your viewing pleasure. This scene combines both Grenadier (The Mushroom Man or Myconid, if you prefer), and Heritage (the Shrieker) minis. When I got the Myconid in an ebay auction of old minis, I couldn't resist putting them together in a scene. This is also my biggest effort to date as far as sculpting terrain - please let me know what you think. For old mini aficionados, the Myconid comes from Grenadier's Monster Manuscript line, which has some really great minis, well-sculpted and with a lot of character. Enjoy!

I love the combination! This diorama reminds me of the Erol Otus illustrations in the old AD&D and Basic books...and that's a good thing! Nice work! I would have a bit more variation in the colors on the myconid, though.

Great overall feel, truly bizarre cavern dwellers for an RPG IMO. Love the base but since they are...er... mushrooms so, things that came out the floor, I'd glazed the whole thing ( critters and base ) with some subtle greens to blend a bit their tones with the base and make it look like a water cavern. That sure would look great. A solid 7.

(7,5) Nice scene, the base also look good something like moss would look good for the base. I like that brown guy (whatever it is,lol) very much, good shading and highlighting.
