Ulan Yih

The guy I painted this for wanted it to look very Asian, so I painted the cloth with Chinese style patterns. Attaching the arms/weapon with Green Stuff was a head ache, and I ended up lopping of the blade, drilling into it and the pole and pinning it, so it won't (hopefully) break off during shipping. I used the NMM technique. He's mounted on a custom sculpted base.

That cloth is fabulous! While I'm not a NMM fan, that NMM is pretty good too. :)

Nice work with the NMM. The base is great. I'm not sure about the pattern on the clothing. It is executed well, I just think the pattern could be less busy.
