Tsuko by Jim Johnson

I just finished my first attempt - the monk from a Reaper "Learn to Paint" kit. The casting was pretty nice, but for a couple of parting lines where the mold didn't line up so well (left instep) and a bit of rough molding (R fingertips - that isn't paint, it is shadow). Anyway, I've been wanting to try painting a fig for some time, and finally got around to it. I am happy with the way it turned out. I guess I could have gone with more intense highlights on the pants. Any other criticism? PS Photo was taken under office fluorescent lighting sitting on a piece of paper, folded to provide a backdrop. I should get something a bit softer than bright white I guess, as the white is a bit stark.
