Stalin in 25mm
A historical model I sold on eBay a long time back. I spent 99.999% of my painting time doing sci-fi or fantasy models, so I love the opportunity to do historicals once in awhile. However, almost every historical gamer I've met has wanted their models painted in one of two ways: in the Foundry style, or just a single basecoat (no highlighting or shading). That, unfortunately, means that the only painting contracts I get seem to be sci-fi or fantasy models, which is a shame, because this was a quick, fun model to paint, while still exuding character. Sorry about the excessive shine tho... I was trying out a new brand of spray sealer, and it was far from flat. I later hit it with a layer of Testor's Dullcote, and that seemed to solve the problem.
