I wanted to go with bright "cartoony" colors for the whole piece. The base is actually a caster cup, with sculpted rocks, mushrooms, and clover made from green stuff. I had fun with this one. Anyway I hope the picture works, I'm still playing around with my new digital camera. And I'm not sure why the pictures make the mini look so glossy, it's not that shiny. Hmm..

Excellent color scheme--the teal works well with the lavender mushrooms and the red complements the more saturated green areas!

Minis always seem to look glossy in pics by people with no pic-taking experience (mine have the same problem). I think to fix it, you just need a really diffuse light source.
