this was my first time trying to paint something ugly. Lots of fun, actually! I would love to hear your comments and suggestions!

In addition to everybody else's tips try black or brownlining any where a joint piece of model meets another to outline for more visual pop-ex black line (a thinned black or dark brown line around where the fingernails meet the fisted hand.

So you want an useful comment...?... There you go... The Choice of colour is -frankly said- interesting... not in a too good way, because the Brown and the Grey don´t fit too well together... they are not too harmonic... All sections are painted quite flat, this means, that you only applicated some few layers without creating a depth in your Mini... you could apply more layers on your Mini, very thin and lets say from Scorched Brown over Bestial Brown into a Snakebite Leather and finally Bleached Bone Mix... In General I would recommend you to paint with more brighter colours to get a nice result to start of... like extreme Highlights... You could try to paint more naturalistic as well... in that case you should learn to know where the light comes from and to paint Shadows as well... All in all not a too bad mini, but nothing too good as well... but since you are a girl I think you might improve to a very good painter...^_^... 6 Points...

It looks quite flat. If you did any highlighting on the brown skin it got lost in the photo. I think kicking the highlights up a few levels would improve this piece. The rocks on the base are too close in colour with the scheme on the mini, perhaps more greens and less rocks.
