Neferata

This is an update of my Neferata picture. Thanks to the comment of "blashyrkh", who told me that the highlighting on the hair can hardly be seen. I think it's better now. I wanted to paint my Vampire Queen to look both seductive and dangerous. I tried to follow some guidlines I made in the beginning. - I didn't go for a too unnatural skin color. While this might be tempting when painting a vampire, it would spoil the seductive look...after all who falls in love with a green skinned girl *g*? - Concerning the dress, while the color choice is not very innovative, I definitely tried to work out her proportions. - I tried to get a "predator-look" on the face. I also added subtle blue highting (like the fur of a panther) to her hair instead of "usual" grey. - The weapon is kind of a boring sculpt on an otherwise great miniature, it took me quite long to decide what to do with it, and I chose sort of a marble texture which I sometimes use on my miniatures. Hope you like her...and of course comments are always welcome.

Well, it's very nice but there's definitely too much red between the fingers of her right hand. (I hesitated between 7 and 8 but decided for an 8 because I like the colours)
