Cynwall Khidarym for Cadwallon
Hi, this is my first post on CMON. I've been viewing the site for some time, but just now decided to start posting. This is a Cynwall Khidarym that I painted for a player in my future Cadwallon game. I plan on painting more minis for the game and will continue to post all members of their Free League as they are finished. I figure my paints are probably considered a sin on this website, but I used "Apple Barrel" paints for this mini, heh...the cheap stuff from Walmart that costs about 50 cents a bottle. I thin the paints using a mix of water and Future Floor Finish. I used to use GW paints, but became very dissatisfied with how easily the bottles dried out, so instead of wasting a bunch of money on expensive paints that didn't last long, I bought the cheap stuff and found that my results came out just as good (in my opinion). I'm still working on adjusting my photography methods. I created a light box, but I don't think the light sources were bright enough, seeing as how I had to adjust the color/brightness of the photos on the computer after taking the pic to get a close match to the actual color of the mini. Anyway, any comments are welcome!
