Kharn the Betrayer NMM

This is my first attempt at NMM. I started the model thinking it would give me a chance to learn gold NMM -- and then of course realised that I would also have to do steel. Oops. All in all I am quite pleased with the end result. There are several things that I would do differently now, of course -- and I may still add some blood and gore -- but in the end this is a model I feel that I can, and should, be quite proud of. The base was made with Super Sculpey. I carved it after it had baked and then glued it to a 40mm base. It was painted with a dark and light grey drybrush -- and then dabbed with a sponge using light blue, green and white paints. I would rate this one a solid 8-9 and would love feedback from others. Thanks for looking.

Very good. But I think - one of the most important thing when you use NMM method is to make right white lines on the edges of metall things, to make an illusion of light reflections. I have painted 3 minis with NMM and now I think I begin to understand. You should feel it, feel the source of light, feel reflections. Try to understand it in daily life and, and when you will, you would make real NMM masterpieces. Good luck
