Reaper Elf Elladan Silveroak

This is a Sandra Garrity sculpt, and a very nice one too! I painted this as a part of a "$20 Challenge". The idea was to assemble a complete paint kit - primers, paints, brushes, glue, everything - for $20 or less and then paint a figure with it. This is my result. Any comments or helpful guidance much appreciated!

Nice attempt at detail on the face and good colour choices (as always). Thinned paints, and washes/glazes will make a huge difference. Again, the Reaper base is a drawback - not much you can do with them though perhaps glue on a slotta and build up with grit/sand etc? Looking forward to seeing your progress ;)

not a bad mini. your colors are placed on very well. i feel that the face is a bit "chalky" this can be fixed by watering down your paints. i would also reccomend learning about different techniques, like drybrushing, washes, layering and blending. c'mon has a great number of articles to help you on your way. keep it up.
