The round things on the base are small gumnuts. I live in Australia, so I went to one of the parks, and picked up some bits. I have used bigger ones to make "shells" that rippers are coming out of, but they are still in progress.
Agreed on the blending - something I really need to work on. Came out a little better on the Hive Tyrant - I'll post that this weekend, if I can.
I like it... The soft part (purple) of it's head is nicely done, but you need to work on your blending, man. Try to read some articles on CMON, they are very helpfull. What are those round things on the base... ? they look cool...
