My 4th conversion , A Tyranid Exocrine. A model that was made bij armorcast, but i didn't like it, so i made my own. i'm very pleased how it came out. Any suggestions on how to base it ? please comment

Maybe try painting a slightly darker colour under the cream first (maybe graveyard earth if you use GWs paints). Then add the cream over the top leaving out the deepest recesses. Then highlight the areas sticking out the most with white. Takes time but it looks good. Nice colour scheme.

After lookinf over all your pics I came to one conclusion. Your very good at painting your juest lacking certain suttleties. For instance there are several mold lines on this beat on both talons. Also some highlighting on that white would look so much better or a black wash moreso. The bast is my biggest problem. What is it exactly? anyways maybe try these things and keep trying cause you can only improve
