Templar Champion
I originally created this model to enter in the 2007 Golden Demon competition. It's a stunning centerpiece, but I felt it lacked that "pop" that a true Golden Demon winner needs. If you'll notice, the flames in the torches, parchment, and his hair are blowing in the same direction, giving the feeling that something is headed his way, and he is steadying himself to ward off attackers coming from the direction of his outstretched hand.
