Tau XV82 Prototype Shas'O battlesuit (work in progress)

I wanted to design a suit that reflected more appropriate scale to the standard firewarriors. As well looked more heavily armored to accuractley depict any of the possible new upgrades in the codex (heaier armor, retro thrusters, stabilization etc..) From fluff I've read, the pilot is housed in the torso, his legs extended into the upper leg housings. But the original design made them look far too cramped (not that being stuck in an armored exosuit should be accomodating and spacious). I just didn't feel the suits height/mass was comparable in scale was all. Currently from head to toe.. its roughly 1/2 inch(15mm) taller than the standard GW released XV8s. As to the dynamic pose, I opted to give the impression that the battlesuit was in full stride utilizing thrust assisted side to side motion. I'm definitely no sculpting pro like so many others I've seen here, so I figured I'd give it a go.. I can only choose to keep at it to improve. So like a mad Fio, I slaved away during my none working hours, utlizing the limited free time I managed an hour or two every couple of nights for a few weeks. Since I've neared completion I wanted to share my prototype battlesuit with this community for some creative feedback. It's nearly 95% complete, albeit purely minor touches and smoothing of details. Cheers!

The White stuff is mostly plasticard, or plasticard 1/4 square rods. Mixed with GS to fill gaps, smooth joints etc.

The white parts are actually various thickness plasticard. 1/4 inch sticks and 1/8 scale thick plastic card. Check a local hobby store in your area and look through their scale model sections for railway/diorama works. Usually used by hobbyists who like to build stuff for scale H/O train sets and WW diorama stuff.
