Thousand Sons Sorcerer

A conversion based on an old Tzeentch Sorcerer. The head has been replaced with a more modern Thousand Sons marine head. One arm has been replaced with a tentacle while the other is partly plastic space marine arm and partly sculpted. I'm fond of glaives, and this one is made of a Tomb Kings scythe, a chaos marine bolter, and a length of brass rod. NMM for an antique armour look. -Kep

Great paintjob and base. Love it all except the tentacle. It does not fix the fluff at all. Thousand Sons are the way they are because of the Rubric of Ahriman which stopped the mutation of his chapter by obliterating their physical bodies and sealing their souls in their armor. If this mini was painted in pre-heresy colors, it would make sense to have him mutated, but in the blue and gold colors, no Thousand Son marine that was not a Sorcerer would have mutated at all.

Hmm yeah, that would be why their commander cast the spell destroying their physical bodies and binding the to their empty armour. Nobody wants random tentacles...
