I agree with the comments posted, summed up as you need to work on detail a bit. I'm also not sure about the colour choices...he kinda looks wrapped in spaghetti to me. I'd suggest using darker reds/browns for the washes to make him look more aged by dust and less by marinara. Keep practising and you'll improve!
Okay, the paint looks smooth. There's some good shading (washes, isn't it), the copper chains are nice, but the left shoulder pad needs some shading, or at leas some black washing to bring out the shapes. The silver band on the helmet looks to shiny and new. My main concern is that given the reddish/brown look of the bandages, the headdress could have been picked out in some other color. Adding some flock to that base would have raised the score another point. Promising, but not quite there yet. Keep it up.
Okay I am giving you a two, but I have the 'nads to tell you why and also maybe help you out! First, I kinda of like some of the work on the bandages. The left leg looks really good and if they were all done like that, my score would rise to 3 right off! Next, I like the idea of using the copper chains. The other shoulder plate there doesn't wash with me, but the chains are cool. Now you have also used silver on his crown, and I think if you applied a wash of brown ink to the copper bits, and a wash of black to the silver, more depth is added. My score pops up to a 4! Next comes the handle of the flail. This is the exact color of his wrappings. Same as the shading onthe skulls. Now, first off, this can be fixed by increasing the number of colors you use. Lok salmost liek you primed most of this guy, then washed him with chestnut and called it good. Try actually painting the handle a darker brown, and then "drybrushing" a lighter brown over it. Skulls are okay, but maybe need a lighter highlight. There, my score goes to 5 now. OKay, the face! It is in the same situation as the skulls. Same colors... Just gotta vary em a bit. Make it bone colored too. Fix, that and the red is a bit thick, and then throw some crushed herbs or grass on the base and you suddenly have a mini rated at 6 or more!
Cheers anyhow :D
