This is my command squad for my Bloodaxe Ork Imperial Guard army. They use IG rules but have 2nd ed. Ork models. All weapons and wargear are converted to be Imperial. Critiques & Comments begged for! Creepy Basement Studios

I think this army is all about the ideas and the work put into the conversions. This lot would probably be alot more impressive up close and on the table in a game than they are here - a small selection of models in a photo. For the idea I would rate the army as a whole a 7 for imagination, but for painting standard a 6-6.5 would be accurate. It's neatly done, the models are nicely based (although the highlights are a little strong on some of those rocks!) and the freehand banner is really eyecatching.I'm guessing that these guys were never meant to be painted to display standard and I bet they have seen a lot of tournaments and spilt alot of blood in them!

Dude sweet conversions, good paint job, cool idea - it would seem to me people forget that not everybody is a master class painter yet. And your orks, though brilliant, just may not look as effective as some of the other people's crazey work on here. Youre being compared to those nutters aswell you see? I give you a 9, awesome!

I wouldn't say harsh at all, I'd say that 10 is way over generous. Honestly, I would give you a 6.4, but because I really like the far left model I give a 7. I think your score of 7 reflects pretty cool conversions, not your painting. Either that or you need to work on the photograph. And don't worry about scores anyways, just use them as a gauge for where to improve.
