The base is irrelevant; this is clearly a superior job. I could see taking a point off but rating it a THREE? Go skim through and look at some of the 3 ratings and compare them to this. No, this gets a seven. I don't have time for decorative bases.
excellent color scheme, I love the ruby in the sword hilt, however, with no base and the pic somewhat out of focus I rated this a bit lower, would like to see more pics of the figure in a more frontal pose to see more details on tunic, belt etc. Nice job though! I look forward to seeing more from you!
