Champion of Nurgle

Well this has certainly been a long project for me i have spent ages tweaking a bit here and a bit there. I have tried to go with a very realistic look hence the dirty metallics that i am ver proud of. I also am very pleased with the blood effects i have used. This was just red with dark browns and including washing up liquid that made the whole mixture thicker and shinier.for the base i have tried to make it swamp like by using P.V.A. on it to create pools of water.this was another first and i am happy with the result. Overall i am very happy with my finished model and i hope you like it to. james

I agree with generulpoleaxe. And I'd like to add that the weathering on his armour is REALLY good! Even in the close-ups it looks tidy, yet very dirty and worn. That is a trait usually found in miniatures painted by people like nano, Jakob Nielsen etc. (All of whom are multiple golden daemon-winners) Suffice to say I think you have a potential masterpiece here. I My only critisism apart from what has already been said is the face. It's simply not as good as the rest of the miniature, which unfortunately has a negative impact of the general impression.

i realy like this one mate. a couple of points tho, the base looks as tho the ground is soft, as such one of his feet could do with the ground building up underneath it a bit so foot stands on it properly. (feet sink into softer ground a little) secondly, the reeds seem a little tall, if you made them shorter they wouldn't overwhelm the model. nice work mate, sorry to get a little picky but i thought it better to mention them so that you would be able to see where you could improve. :) chris.
