C'tan Nightbringer - Necron
Taken to Adepticon 2005 and won a first place, then I put many more hours into it and completed the freehand designwork on his cloak and other areas. I took him to the Chicago Games Day and made First Cut with the finished paintjob. The inspiration was Matrix, but really I watch too much Stargate. The symbols are copied from the included decals, proper Necron runes, but are true freehand, not the decals. They are vertical streams of code, that have a spot of green energy glow that runs down them. The same green glow presents itself in the "eye" of each of the scarabs that have burst from the ground to do their Master's bidding. 2 additional scarabs were added to the original swarm the Nightbringer commands. He is also tilted more upright than the original, making it easier to stare into his green glowing eyes amid the pale white body. His cloakish robes have been painstakingly blended from black to a vibrant deep blue. More runes of his power run along his weapon shaft and onto the blade itself. Metals are a bronze/silver mix done in a demi-metalic style.
