This Guy is one member of my Confrontation Gobbo army. I prefer to paint my gobbos red, since I don't like the green skin that most people put on them.
I usually start out with a basic orange. The shedes are done by mixing it with a reddish brown and the higlights by mixing it with a beige or sand color. That takes out the "too bright" in the orange.
I'm of the same red-goblin school but have struggled to find the right shade usually going too bright. This looks great though, what colours do you use?
Actually I got the Ide from AD&D which I have been playing for some 18 years or so. In AD&D the Goblins are red-skinned, not green. I only ran into green goblins much later when GW got big, and to my way of thinking, Goblins are still red.
