Death Korps of Krieg - Centaur Artillery tractor
I wanted a really worn out look for this vehicle. Being badly maintained and not cleaned up for a long time plus having seen its fair share of battle has resulted in a quite shabby appearance. My Death Korps are themed in a semi-winter theme where the snow has just begun to melt, creating a really muddy environment. I painted the white so that it does not cover very well deliberately. The effect I'm after is that of a "whitewash" as done by vehicle crews during WW2 as an emergency solution to camouflage their vehicles during winter. Being done by the crew and in the field they were often very sloppy and not covering all to well. I also wanted to create the impression that the lamp on the front of the vehicle was turned off, hence the black/grey colours on it. Comments and criticism is much appreciated!!
