Rackham's Maelyn, minus her dragon cloud and based on a Freebooter scenic square. Another model that turned out purple and teal despite my intentions! Very limited palette which I enjoyed. Painted for Darin 'Whizard' Hlavaz since he's such a nice guy.

Maybe the only thing that lets this model down is a lack of contrast in the hair. Otherwise this piece is just creamy! Perfect blends and subtle colors just rock.

IMHO this is grossly underrated,not only is it an ubercool mini but the technique, originality and colour saturation(or lack of) are outstanding...i wish iwas Darin! Thanx for a splendid piece of inspiration :)
