Now, the skin looks solid, so does the armor (though it's a really small pic). Two pointers: try improwing on the horns and hooves (e.g. painting them scorched brown and highlighting with some added bleached bone).
Second, do something with the base... even basic green flock will do a lot. Better yet, glue on some sand and wash it (and those rocks) with thinned brown ink. Add static grass. This should push your mini up at least a point. Well, that and a better pic :)
