Tower of Nor-Brethil

Elvish tower of Nor-Brethil. This is more a manor for an elvish noble than a defensive tower. The look is intended to be overgrown, lots of wildflowers and shrubbery, set within a birch forest. This project was started last summer, but I didn't like how it was going, so it sat on my workbench for about a year before I drug it out to complete it. Tower, hill, and rocks are all carved blue foam. The birch trees are from a christmas village, topped with Woodland Scenics clump foliage. All wildflowers, vines, long grasses, and flock are from Woodland Scenics. The roof on the smaller shed is sheet styrene. The statues are Confrontation, the miniatures are from Thunderbolt Mountain. Any and all comments are certainly appreciated.

Once I was in Italy. There I visited some old cities which had towers similiar to your one. When I saw your photo, I thought it was a photo of one of these towers for a second. Particullary the higher half looks so real. Great photographing technique, too.
