This was a reasonably fun mini to paint, despite some rather annoying mold issues. This was also my first attempt at some different things, such as: NMM Reflective metal and the checker pattern around his cloak All comments/suggestions are welcome.

The figure just isn't quite there and the photograph doesn't help much. Instead of rough pebbles try and mix up the size of basing material and paint it. The pebblemix base doesn't do your work any favours. Bravo for trying the NMM but I'd suggest working on standard NMM before trying to put in horizons and reflections. It is something I've never been able to do convincingly.
