Tzeentch Chaos Sorceror

This GW figure dates back to around 1992 or so and although it was originally released as a "generic" Warhammer Chaos Sorceror and is currently still available for order as a named character, I decided to paint it up in the style of a follower of Tzeentch in bright colors and off-colored metallics. All the metal areas on the figure were painted using metallic paint and various inks and additives, and the freehand designs on his robes represent my first attempt at ever painting NMM - I figured a Tzeentch Chaos Sorceror could have "liquid metal" designs on his robes and it wouldn't be TOO far out of place. The base is designed to fit into a larger display base with fallen trees and a muddy swamp theme - the wet look to the ground cover on the original hexagonal slottabase is intentional. Comments and constructive criticism appreciated!

I just returned from the Chicago Golden Demon competition and am happy to report that the figure received an honorable mention, and I believe placed in the top 5 overall in the category. He made first cut, at any rate, and I'm extremely happy as this is one figure I put a lot of work into specifically for entering him.
