I see.. Thank you both for the replies!! I at least wanted to know the reasons for lower scores :) The photo was better originally, but it's much larger naturally and the site does not shrink them very well.
One more question, though, how is it not finished? What more can I do? Add some twigs sticking out of the ground or something? The figure is fully painted, I think I did a pretty good job on the skinless-flesh muscle areas, and added some green where the "mutagen" is bubbling out, etc... And he is standing on some rocks in sand, as this faction resides in the desert...
Aside from the poor photo as already mentioned, the figure is unfinished. Even a table top figure needs to be finished to score a 5. This is meant constructively, by the way.
People don't just rate the pure painting. Its also the photo. So if the photo is fuzzy, overexposed, unfinished looking or just plain ugly they will rate it down.
I gave a 6 as I agree it is better than Tabletop ready but I'd certainly add a few of those I mentioned to my thoughts of this. I could easily have given this a 4.
