Swordsmen
Part of my Empire army painted up for the Warhammer schools league tournament, and doubles tournament, this was one of the units of the army that won me Best Painted Fantasy Army award in the schools league. The rest of the army is in my gallery. The little amount of conversion work in it was done slowly and leisurely, swapping spears for swords and hands, adding shields, and converting the standard and champion, but the painting was done quickly but still took around 4 hours (not including freehand on standard), a whole evening of painting, during a week that I painted non stop. (Got up at around 4:00 each morning, painted, had breakfast, painted, went to school, painted, came home from school, painted, had supper, painted, then went to bed and did this every day for a week) Additional pictures of the standard are here: http://www.coolminiornot.com/165983
