Empire Templar Grand Master WIP

Commission work for free. I'm painting some Characters for a friend's Empire army. Colour scheme is set for red and yellow, so it's an army from Talabecland. Here we have the general, a Templar Grand Master (who's order also wears the colours of the state). The entire army is being dipped, so that it can join in on the battlefields in (hopefully) no time! The picture is taken while the dip is drying, so it's a sort of "last minute WIP picture". Also, some static grass will be added shortly.

There are highlights on both the red and yellow areas, but they are done before the dipping. The pictures are a bit dark since I've done no editing, but I'll probably get new ones later anyway (when the base is done). The Empire Halberdiers in the other picture has no highlights. They're only some test figures for dipping. Anyway, the point is that the army should be EASY and FAST to paint, so no highlights will be used on the troops. Only Characters (like this one) will get highlights, but they're done before the dipping.

What I really think would help this out (and the one where you are testing colours) is a layer of highlights added above the dip, so that the red and yellow are brought closer to their actual brightness on the upermost edges.
