Definately tabletop, but you can see all the flaws because of the large picture, hence the lower score atm. But it makes it easier to comment as well, so here's one for you. :) All in all this is not bad at all. The brushwork is pretty recise and the colourscheme is interesting. I think the best area is the hair, the colour is unique and the selective drybrushing works well. The skin could need some work though even it works for a sweat and dried blood look! :) Anyway. I presume you are using inks. They dry shiny which can look strange when trying to do skin. Try diluting ordinary paint instead for shading layer. It looks like the ink has dried blotchy as well which comes from either not diluting it enough or putting too much paint/ink on the model at a time. You can try putting less paint on the brush. For quick washes you can put pretty heavy washes, but they need to be well diluted + it's very beneficial to use a "feathering" technique afterwards.. which basically means you clean the brush (or use another one) moist it slightly and then drag the colour where you want it.. it's then also realtively easy to use the brush to suck up drops of pooling paint. It's a quick technique but needs some practicing Then when you've done the shading, go over the raised areas with the basecoat again and you can try apply some highlights. Lastly I think the sand looks unpainted. (- Paint sand to look like sand WTF??) Remember that when trying to sell the illiusion of something in smaller scale being something big you in 99% of the cases need to apply some paint to it. Hope something helps. Sven
