I think some highlighting and more accents would make your mini look a great deal more impressive. The red you painted is okay, but I think if you accentuate the brass, it would give a better contrast to the red. Otherwise, your mini is good, I think.

This mini isn't bad at all, I quite like it actually, I think what's damaging your score so much is in some areas the paint looks like it should be thinned a little, but all in all I really like this!
