also a dab of firey orange in the corner of they by the nose would be good + a tiny tiny white spot at the other end of the glass eye piece would be the shizzles......its the small details (ie the parchment) that really make a model
i think you made those skulls....on the knee pads....im trying to do that and it is alot harder than it looks. good job. like the other post, use some inks to shade up those surfaces. very thin amount of ink (lots of water......apply ink a bit at a time so when it drys it doesnt leave a "ring" mark.)
I really like the scheme, sam. You could print out a backdrop, to photograph your minis in front of. This would bring out the atmosphere of them much more.
Is the skull on his knee-pad sculpted?
