Ezekiel, Chief Librarian

Ezekiel, Dark Angels Chief Librarian. I didn't like the color scheme that traditionally went along with him so I modified the armor to be far more in line with the Dark Angels. And also added a lot of wear to the armor, to be a chief anything in a chapter, you have to be pretty damn experienced, so I aged the armor and robe. Though I was told as I was showing these to someone else that "he looks like he just bought the sword at Target" so I've added the aging to the sword as well. I thought the supplied pack looked like ass on him so I swamped a standard marine pack for his. This is one of the first minis I've done since I gave up the hobby about 8 years ago (I was 14). I've never actually *seen* anyone paint a model so I've learned entirely by trial and error. Any thoughts, helpful comments to help me finish him up or improve certain areas would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, tabletop quality. If yr wondering why then: 1. Librarians are blue, ALWAYS! 2. The Drybrushing is too pastel so if you ink wash it should bring back depth. 3. The mould lines are visible-try scraping with scissors or file or knife 4. Base needs finishing. For not painting in 8 years this is good. I recomend a black/dark green ink wash on armour and a watered down to nearly nothing brown wash on the robe. Hope this helps! P.S. Gold looks good ;)

The wear on the armour suits the character perfectly. The robe and sword both need more depth and definition though. Still, love the armour.
