Captain Argo, Chapter-Master of the Draco Argentum
An extensively converted GW SM Captain. The list goes as follows...scratch built banner (incorporating the banner pole from the SM termi Librarian, plastic rod, putty flag, a craft shop "orb", a chaos spiky bit and purity seals from an attack bike...phew!) sculpted putty leatherwork on the body, a custom combat knife sheathed in the tusk from a carnifex tusker(which you can see in detail in the inset), a shoulder pad made from the same unfortunate tusker (complete with fatal crack grenade wound ;), the storm bolter from a termi librarian (its "belt" was far more dynamic than the one in the sprue but it was an f***er to cut off!) and a wire-cut foam scenic base. The model has so many pins thru it I think he should get a free bionics save... I thought it was a cool conversion and I used a bunch of untried painting techniques (learned from here of course) to try and do it justice with varying degrees of success. Still, I consider the finished product sufficiently heroic to lead my chapter!
