Master Chaplain Astador of the Patriot Guard

I really tried to push myself on this model after mercilously throttling a friend for not pushing himself...I had to take my own medicine. I took on a relatively ambitious conversion, a large amount of sculpting (which I hate doing), tried my hand at SENMM for the first time, and attempted "speed painting". I was effectively able to cut my painting time in half,, and was able to crank out the painting in just over 20 hours. I left out subtle glazes, and my custom greaves didn't come out as metallic as I would have liked, but I'm pretty pleased with how he turned out. Hopefully the rule change on the horizon won't live up to the rumors that Chaplains will no longer be able to take lightning claws. As always, C&C are very welcome, and thanks for looking and voting!

WOW...not bad for speed painting. I kinda like the plain but skilled look without all the hoo-ha and glazing. Not bad at all.
