I thought the plastic ruin you can buy at GW is by itself quite boring. This is what I did to make it more interesting. The closeup photo shows some spent rounds and a used smoke grenade. The rounds are made of a chopped up tooth stick and the grenade comes from a plastic rod. Actually the mechanism showed on top of the grenade is plastic junk that came from my cleaning up process on the ruin itself :) Very easy and quick conversion/enhancement. What do you think?

Thank you for the pointer there with the sandbags! I have pretty much experience with sandbags at my work ;) but when I made these I didn't think of the real thing for one minute. I was to focused on were to put them to make the terrain look real :D I see your point and I will make smaller ones in the feautre! Thank you!

Pretty good - however one more thing about the sandbags - they are way overscale - they look like bags of corn - and look to be about 8 foot in scale - which is just to damn big - real sandbags are about 16 inches by about 3 feet long, and in my experience are never filled completely, as that is just to much like work.
