Chaos Ogre Butcher
This became my main entry for UKGD even if it started out just as a miniature for my slowly emerging Ogre army. It is pretty heavily resculpted, I think I managed pretty well with the musclework and belly. I redid the face as well, made the mouth much larger and filled it with teeth inspired by deepsea fish. The painting has some issues due to the primer melting the plastic a bit. I managed to cover most of it with hair though. :) But I have some parts of this one I'm extremely pleased with, not the least that I was brave enough to do some freehand again. I just want to take the time to say hello to everyone I met along the way in UK and france! I have had such a great time this fall and made some new friends during the way. I also really understood what I need to change with my way of painting, I need to be less subtle. What does it matter if I do lots of work that nobody can see without perfect lighting and sometimes even a magnifying glass? :P in the cabinets at the events I was attending my minis looked uninteresting imo. My goal from now on is for my minis to look the best under all lightingconditions. More contrast, more colours but still subtle work when viewed under good lighting Not an easy equation but I will try.
