Crystal Desires - diorama on OSL
This was my entry in the second round of Wyrd Games 2007 Iron Painter. The theme was OSL. It was a real pain in the neck to try and get good pictures. With lots of miniatures in the piece and lots of depths and focal points, the camera just wouldnt cooporate. But, even with that, I am very happy with how it turned out. Being only my 3rd or 4th time to try OSL, it was a great challenge for pushing myself. The challenge was OSL, so I started to get the idea of the a crystal hanging from the ceiling, very similar to the movie the Dark Crystal. I chose to have it hanging in the lair of a Lich. And you cant have a lich without some minions to do its bidding, hence the horde of little imps swirling around the room. Thank you for looking at my piece.
