the unlikely duo

his mini diorama was made a while back for a store competition , basically you had to have at least 2 models and pieces from 3 races... after reading World War Z and the Zombie survival guide (both books by Max Brooks) i decided to go witha zombie theme, so i bought a box o' zombies and a cadian then repainted a grot... there is one "fresh" zombie that was at first a test for my palet whilst i experimented with zombie skins but i thought i would but some bullet holes in him from the grot C&C welcome

Hmmm. Can I make a suggestion - crop snything not related to the mini out of the picture and use some kind of background, white, grey, a blue/white gradient to highlight it. This site is about showing off the minis, people arent interested in seeing the book. I have scored this low, because I cant actually see the mini diorama very well at all! Its just a blurry muddle of figures to me. It doesnt show your painting skill or even the minis clearly enough to warrant a good score. I hope this advice helps you to improve the qulaity of your gallery here. Whether or not you are interested in getting good scores i dont know, but at the very least people here like to show their work off which isn't gonna happen with photos like this one! dfb
