Ultramarine Scout (converstion)

Sorry, no pics of base, but the converstion is on the head, chopped off original scout head and replaced with plastic SM head. I have a whole squad of similar scouts, I think they blend in with the rest of my army alor better than standard scouts. The way i've read things out of the "fluff" for space marines, is that a scout is a spacemarine, that is, gone through all genetic modification of the gene-seed, but has not recieved the proper "hook-ups" for his armor. Also this stems from the question, besides training, what about just a hostile enviroment? I would think a scout could make good use of the workings in a space marine-type helment

No chordes. Scouts are NOT just space marines without full armor. When they are deemed worthy of ascending as a space marine they receive more implants that among other things enable them to wear full SM-armor which becomes linked to their nervous system. About the model. It sure looks good with a helmet. Not fluffy but cool. I like the colors you used on the bolter, but the pants look a little blotchy though and the highlighted line on his right hand is a bit thick.
