One of the hardest parts about painting miniatures for a living is that because I only paint models that I like, I want to keep them all! This one is particularly hard to sell. *sniff* I love the sculpt- Kevin White did a fantastic job on her. She has wonderful lines and curves, and for a nude model she is very demure. I set her on a rock by the water at sunset, dreamily staring off into nothing. When I have time in beautiful places, I often look off into the distance and think about everything and nothing. I imagine that she is doing the same. I had fun with painting warm and cold colors on her- warm from the sun, and cold where the sun doesn’t hit. It is also my first standing resin water. The rocks under the water were fun to paint, as were the reflections under the water. I'm really pleased with the way whole piece came together. I hope you enjoy!
